Weekly Update 4/24/17-4/28/17
This week we began our Exit Interview unit. This is the culminating project for eighth graders' middle school careers. It consists of numerous written assignments we will be working on in class over the next few weeks. These assignments form the content of a presentation each student will give in front of his or her core teachers. Students may also invite friends and family to attend their presentations. For more information about the Exit Interview unit, please see the folder below.
Our focus this week has been on self-reflection and autobiography, as well as students' families. Students should be talking with their families this weekend to get family histories to complete their family trees. Family trees and family tree articles will be due next week.
On Monday, students should be bringing home an informative letter about Exit Interviews and the upcoming eighth grade field trip. Also attached, is the signup sheet to schedule a presentation time. Please have your student fill this out and turn it in to Ms. Neuerburg. If your student does not bring home this newsletter and signup sheet, you may print one from the Exit Interview folder below.
